Call for research projects requesting access to EDUC research infrastructures

The EDUC university alliance offers access to its technologies and services available via core facilities and research infrastructures. The call is open from 20th November 2025 until 27th February 2026, 12:00 CET.

The aim of this call for proposals is to stimulate direct interactions between EDUC partners and promote the existing core facilities across the consortium, namely in the Widening countries (Masaryk University, Czech Republic; University of Pécs, Hungary; and Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, Ukraine). Researchers and Ph.D. candidates from the EDUC consortium are invited to propose research projects that can be implemented utilising available core facilities. Within one project proposal, the applicant can ask for one or more services/technologies from one or more EDUC partners participating in the call.

For the purpose of this call, each applicant’s affiliation with an EDUC institution will be verified by their respective EDUC-WIDE member institution.
Only cross-border applications will be supported. It is not possible to request the measurement in the country of the applicant’s home institution.

EDUC-WIDE EGRI project meeting

Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University took part in the EDUC-WIDE EGRI project meeting organized at the University of Pécs on November 6-7, 2025.

The event gathered representatives of the EDUC European University Alliance to exchange experience, review completed project activities, and plan further cooperation in the field of research infrastructures and open science.

During the meeting, Associate Professor Liliia Turovska presented a report on the recent developments in the Core Facilities of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, emphasizing modernization of research equipment and participation in international networks.

The discussions also focused on the coordination of upcoming project calls, best practices in research evaluation, and the enhancement of digital tools supporting collaboration within the alliance.

Participation in the meeting confirms the university’s active engagement in European research initiatives and its commitment to fostering innovation and open science.

EDUC Research & Innovation Fellowships

Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University invites university faculty members and PhD students to apply for participation in the new European competition EDUC Research & Innovation Fellowships, funded by the European Union under the EDUC-WIDE project.

The EDUC Fellowships provide researchers at any career stage with opportunities to develop new skills, gain experience in an international environment, expand academic contacts, and build long-term partnerships among the universities of the EDUC Alliance and its innovation ecosystem.
